Hot Mango Habanero BBQ Sauce
10 mins
2 Cups
Introduction
After the last batch of my Pulled Pork with accompanying Mango Habanero Salsa. I got to thinking about making my own BBQ sauce. I generally use Stubb's Sweet Heat along with Sweet Baby Ray's Wing Sauce to dress up my Pork before it hits the oven. I have only done a minimal amount of research into different recipes for BBQ sauce on the inter webs and think I have a good general Idea for what I want to do for this.

Steps
Chop Mangos and Habanero peppers
add to a blender or food processor along with Tomato Sauce reduce down all of the Habanero pieces
Add to Sauce pan and mix in Brown sugar, Maple Syrup, Rice Vinegar, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt, Black Pepper, and Chile Powder
This should be all the ingredients except for your Guava preserves we will add that in a bit
Place Sauce pan on medium heat and bring to light boil and back off the heat. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes
Add in your preserves and mix in until reduced
Your sauce should be thick enough by this time, remove from heat and let cool and your ready to consume!
